Sal Shahriar serves as the President of Titan Hospitality Management and Development, a full service hotel management company based out of Harrisburg, PA. Besides his day to day operating role at Titan, Sal volunteers as Vice Chairman of Procurement Committee on behalf of the IHG Owners Association for all mid-scale brand hotels in the Americas and Canada. Previously, he served for multiple years on the Advisory Committee for Marriott’s Residence Inn Brand, Harrisburg International Airport Advisory Council and Harrisburg Area Community College Advisory Board.
Over the past 16 years, Sal was instrumental in the growth of Hersha Hospitality Management, which now manages over 115 hotels. In addition, Sal co-founded Arrow Hospitality Management, a Regional Management Consulting Company serving Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets.
As President of Titan Hospitality Management and Development, Sal is responsible for day-to-day operations of 12 Marriott and Hilton branded hotels. As the organization repositions itself for growth through its internal development pipeline as well as acquisition of third party management contracts, we are revamping our organizational structure. We are creating a platform and process that can maximize net operating income for our existing hotel portfolio and position ourselves for sustained growth in the future.
Phillip Murray, CHARegional Director of Operations
Phillip Murray, CHA, brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to Titan Hospitality Management and Development. Phil started his career in the culinary arts field attending Johnson & Wales Culinary College and obtaining his Associates degree from the Culinary School of Georgetown, D.C. Throughout his career, he held various positions within the hospitality industry working his way up to General Manager, Area Manager, and VP of Operations. Phil brings a wealth of experience managing multiple brands which include full service and limited service properties, including, Carlson, Hilton, Wyndham, InterContinental Hotel Group and Best Western. He has also managed independent Historic hotels that were part of Historic Hotels of America. Phil was the recipient of the distinguished Spirit of Hospitality Award from the American Hotel and Lodging Association for the state of Pennsylvania General Manager of the Year. He has also received the Pulse Award for General Manager of the Year from the Hershey Capital Regional Tourism Bureau and numerous awards for his dedication to this industry as he supported local and regional organizations. These awards include the Pulse Award, Dr. W.E. Tilberg Outstanding Volunteer Award, 2010 Tourism Ambassador Award, Community Building Award, and the Leadership Award, just to mention a few. Phil is very passionate about the industry, the people who he works with and the guests we serve.
Cindy ComptonCorporate Director of Sales and Marketing
Cindy Compton leads the sales and marketing efforts for Titan’s entire portfolio of hotels by providing guidance, training and support to each of our property’s sales teams, as well as overseeing the Revenue Management functions from an above-property perspective. Cindy brings over 18 years of Hospitality experience to Titan Hotel Group. Always having a passion for service, she began her career in the industry as a front desk agent for a full-service Holiday Inn, eventually working her way through the different departments before landing in sales, her true passion. She has held various positions in both sales and operations alike, gaining experience of multiple brands along the way. Most of her career has been spent working under the Marriott umbrella, although she has also worked with Hilton, IHG and Independent properties. Cindy was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, and relocated to Central Pennsylvania in 2016.
Drazan Mlivoncic is an award-winning hospitality executive and turnaround expert with more than a decade of experience managing properties for multi-site corporations. His ability to effectively lead teams of general managers, spearheading their recruitment and training, has been a true asset to the company. Drazan’s has history of reinventing properties and turning them into top-tier revenue producers. Known for his keen understanding of operations, training, process improvement, and innovation, with experience in managing, implementing, and exceeding corporate objectives, Drazan is well-versed in executing client engagement strategies to aggressively deliver quality customer service. An effective project manager able to align initiatives with organizational long-range goals, He is most passionate about mentoring employees and providing effective personnel oversight.
